LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Gheens Science Hall and Rauch Planetarium at the University of Louisville will once again offer a family-oriented Halloween party in October, a free telescope workshop in November and a holiday party in December.
The annual Fright Light Halloween Party will be from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 27 and will feature children’s activities and a Halloween-themed laser light show in the planetarium’s 55-foot dome. Admission is $5 per person for all ages.
A telescope workshop—aimed at novice star gazers and people who are thinking about purchasing a telescope—will be Nov. 8 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The free workshop is staffed by members of the Louisville Astronomical Society.
A kid-friendly holiday party will be Dec. 7 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. In addition to hands-on activities, there will be a laser music show set to holiday music. Admission is $5 per person for all ages.
