LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The holidays will be especially cheery for more than 1,150 University of Louisville students who are expected to graduate this month.
Of those scholars, 850 plan to participate in the university’s Dec. 18 commencement at the KFC Yum! Center. UofL President James Ramsey will preside at the 7 p.m. event and College of Arts and Sciences English and sociology major Branka Damjanovic of Louisville will be the student speaker.
A 3 p.m. doctoral hooding ceremony, hosted by the School of Interdisciplinary and Graduate Studies, will precede the main commencement ceremony.
Some free parking is available on surface streets near the center and paid parking is available in the center’s garage and other nearby garages.
