LOUISVILLE, Ky. — California-based technology consultant Rich Miller will speak Feb. 12 at the University of Louisville about “Inventing the Future: Digital Technologies, Entrepreneurship and the Rise of Silicon Valley.”
The 5 p.m. lecture and reception afterward are free and public in the University Club’s Ballroom B. UofL’s Liberal Studies Project is the event sponsor.
Miller, founder and CEO of Telematica Inc., is a Silicon Valley veteran who worked on the evolution of email and the cloud, as well as with the international standards community that established the basis for the modern electronic mail industry.
He founded several technology startups, including InfoMedia Corp., Rapport Communication and Univa Corp., and consulted on technology projects for AT&T, IBM and Palm Computing.
